Beverly Smith
Director
I am originally from the Rio Grande Valley and moved to the Spring/Woodlands area in 1998. I have 3 amazing grown children. Jordan (28), Lacee (25), and Taylor (21). I have 3 dogs and work with dog rescues often.
I attended Central Texas College and received my Bachelors in Management and minored in Early Childhood Education. I have over 20 years of experience working with children, with over 15 of them as a Director.
I grew up in the Baptist faith and simultaneously attended a Lutheran private school all the way until High School. I started attending Woodlands Church upon moving here and became a member in 2000. I have a strong faith in Christ and a firm belief that the way to nurture children is hand and hand with our Heavenly Father and his word.
I have an open heart, as well as an open door. Please come to me if you have any questions. I look forward to serving your family here at New Life Community Christian School.
Wishing you joy in Christ!

I have been here at New Life for a year now! I have been in Early Childhood Education for 7 years. During those 7 years I obtained my CDA credential to better help the littles in my care. My husband and I have 2 sweet girls, Sofia (8) and Penelope (4), 2 wild dogs and a feisty cat. When I'm not at work, I spend my time loving them the best way I can. Leading with love & grace in our classroom is what I take pride in.

I have been working with kids since I was 17, starting with babysitting to now being a Two’s Lead Teacher here at New Life! I graduated from Klein Oak High School, and I am also bilingual so I love tying Spanish into our curriculum and class activities. I am super excited to be on this academic journey with your child and to teach them the Word of God!

Leslie Branscum

Hello, my name is Leslie Branscum. I am new to New Life CRS as a lead teacher. I am originally from Arizona and moved to Houston in 1988. I am blessed to have 3 awesome children. Ashlyn (23), Ty (19), and my caboose, Maci (12). We have 1 dog named Dexter and he is the 5th member of the family. I attended Stephan F. Austin and received my bachelors in Hotel Restraunt Management. I have over 10 years of experience as a substitute teacher.
I give my free time to a ministry called The Balm of The Branch which seeks to help those with sickness/disease freedom through spiritual healing. It is an honor to intercede for those who seek help and amazing to see people set free.
Serving children is something I love. My goal is to help your child be the best version of themselves while helping them succeed. I look forward to working with and for you.
Matthew 19:14- Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven be longs to such as these.”

I am originally from Germany and moved to Houston together with my husband in January 2018. We have been together for 9 years. We live in a house in Spring and I love being here in Texas! While others complain about the heat, I love it ♡
I love outdoor activities and I love swimming and for sure I love good food! We have 2 cats and 1 dog. And I love to travel and see many countries all over the world.
I will tell y'all sometimes a little bit about different countries and cultures and share my travel dictionaries. (any maybe some pictures :-)
In Germany I was the director in the Sparkasse, it is one of the biggest banks there. I graduated in Germany with a Bachelor of finance in 2013. I have worked in another school before and have several years teaching experience already. I love teaching kids! That’s the reason I am here! I look forward to teach all of you the essentials that you all make a great start in your elementary.

Victoria Stauffer
PreK Lead Teacher
I have lived in the Houston area my whole life. I am the middle of 7 children, and I always loved helping my parents homeschool my younger siblings. I began volunteering in my church nursery at age 12, and was hired at my first childcare job at age 15. My friends and family always say that I explain things to children well. It was for this reason I decided to pursue a degree in education. I graduated Cum Laude with an Associate of Arts in Teaching from Lone Star College-Kingwood in December 2019.
I have had opportunities to teach all grade levels during my 15 years of childcare/education experience, but I decided I love early education best! I love the children, and I am so grateful to have this opportunity to be a part of their education and for all the life lessons these little ones teach me
