Samantha Medore

I am so thankful and excited to be a part of the New Life community.  I began at NLCCS in 2020 as an Assistant Director and fell in love with the families, students, and staff.  As director, I am dedicated to ensuring that New Life Community Christian School is a safe environment filled with Christ-centered learning and heart-felt joy.

My husband, Derek, and I have three children: Caitlyn, Max, and Hadley.  We enjoy board games, thrift-shopping, and quality time with our extended family. If I’m not at school I am most likely at one of my children’s sporting events. We have been members of New Life church for the past 7 years, and I am a Children’s Ministry volunteer.

Alyssa Hernandez
Assistant Director

I have been working with kids since I was 17, starting with babysitting to now being a Two’s Lead Teacher here at New Life! I graduated from Klein Oak High School, and I am also bilingual so I love tying Spanish into our curriculum and class activities.  I am super excited to be on this academic journey with your child and to teach them the Word of God!

Hello parents! I'm Ms. Marisa, I am the lead teacher in the nursery, and I'm very excited to be working, exploring, and learning with your children! I graduated from Carl Wunsche Sr. High school in 2022, and since then I have been teaching here at NLCCS! Fun fact, I was previously a student here at the preschool many years ago! I am currently the Children's Ministry Director here at New Life Church! I would love to see you and your little one at church!

I'm originally from Southern California and move to Texas in 2022. I've been married for 12 years to my husband, Douglas.  We have 3 wonderful boys: Hunter (11), Jacob (8), and Nolan (4).  I enjoy crafting, photography, and going to Disneyland with my family.

I have worked with children in many capacities for the past five years.  After subbing at New Life for a couple of days, I fell in love with the children and the Christ-centered environment.  I look forward to watching my students grow and having the opportunity to build relationships with families.
